My uncle was a real starfighter pilot so he often tells great storys and took me to some airshows. So unforced he gives me the microbe too.
It was evident that 1 day I will be a pilot myself and for many young guys the real dream ends there but as adult I get the chance to join a lanparty and suddenly I was an online flightsimpilot.
After about 5 months of flightsimming It became clear that VFR was my ultimate flight experience.
So after trying some yokes (they all did the job but thats it, no one gives me real satisfaction).
So after some research I find ThrustMaster.
Now that it was sure that I should spend many hrs with my hobby, it was time to analyse the situation.
In my eyes the most important attribute of a VFR pilot is the yoke, this one can make a huge difference.
I choose for the best; the HotasWharthog, yep this one is expensive but if you know that you will fly more than 1000hrs the price is less with every minute that you use it.
Today, 6 years from the start and 3798 hr on the counter, I can tell for sure that this was the BEST decision I ever made in my flightsim carrier
3798 hr of flying the real yoke without 1 single defect, 6 years of enjoying that counts!!
It is simple, this is an extension of your hand, you can reach every key easily and don’t be afraid to hit him hard, he will not move.
One last thing; THANKS ThrustMaster Team for this real piece of art.
